China’s Neway Valve Seeks Global Expansion

Neway Valve, a Chinese industrial valve manufacturer, has announced plans to establish manufacturing facilities worldwide to align with international standards. Jason Yang, General Manager of Neway Valve West Africa FZE, revealed this initiative during a technical presentation - Valve Solutions for Congo’s Key Industries - at the Congo Energy & Investment Forum, held in Brazzaville from March 24-26, 2025, where the company is an associate sponsor.

Discussing the company's manufacturing infrastructure, Yang detailed, "We have manufacturing facilities in China, including foundries and assembly points. In the future, we plan to establish factories worldwide to adapt to international standards." Regarding Neway's global presence, Yang noted, "We provide a global network and have an African branch in Nigeria, covering the sub-Saharan region.

The company offers a comprehensive range of valve products adapted for offshore and deepwater operations, natural gas and petrochemicals developments – including control valves, butterfly valves, valves and nuclear valves. Additionally, Neway Vavle’s production lines are increasingly automated, with robotic controls and digitalization software.

Neway Valve has extensive experience in the energy sector and collaborates with major oil & gas companies such as MODEC, ExxonMobil and TotalEnergies, their biggest client. Yang stated, "TotalEnergies frequently utilized our products in their operations; we also conduct R&D with them."

The inaugural Congo Energy & Investment Forum, set for March 24-26, 2025, in Brazzaville, under the highest patronage of President Denis Sassou Nguesso and supported by the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Société Nationale des Pétroles du Congo, brings together international investors and local stakeholders to explore national and regional energy and infrastructure opportunities.
