The first agreement – signed between the state-owned China Gold Group and the RoC's Ministry of Mines and Geology - focuses on developing Congo's gold resources. The second agreement centers on enhancing mining technical skills, sciences and technologies at Denis Sassou N'Guesso University.

RoC is seeking investment across its mining industry to support economic diversification. The agreements signed in China represent a key step towards developing the gold sector while boosting local capacity.
