James brings nearly 30 years of experience in oil and gas upstream operations, across field, technical, commercial and business management roles within the oilfield service, midstream and decarbonisation/new energy sectors.

His experience in outcome-based and alternative commercial models supports the development of partnerships and collaborative relationships, enabling long term project success, development of local partner capabilities and improved commercial outcomes for both operator and supply chain.
James holds a degree in Geology from the University of St. Andrews.
